JOB SUMMARY:

The Development Specialist is a primary facilitator for on-boarding and ongoing Associate/Leader development including the delivery of core instructional content and training. The Development Specialist is also responsible for the development and delivery of customized training requests for MLH departments/units. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
Five years professional HR related experience to include web based and classroom based professional training/instruction, coaching, culture change, and diversity /inclusion initiatives.
BA / BS Business or related degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office products
• Instructional design, facilitation, crucial conversations training and new hire orientation experience preferred
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of moderately difficult assignments.
• Strong technical knowledge.
• Facilitates meetings and oversees projects.
• Collaborates with clients to develop products and services.
• Negotiates with clients to obtain data or products.
• Project management knowledge.
• Develops and uses collaborative relationships to accomplish work goal
